MARYVILLE, Mo. - Nodaway County hit a bleak milestone. The Nodaway County Health Department confirmed 26 more cases of COVID-19 in the county, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 1,017, with 50 probable cases.
Health officials say 172 cases are active and Northwest Missouri State University says 51 of those involve Northwest students or employees.
Health officials add that there are three current hospitalizations. Officials continue to strongly urge the public to social distance and practice good hygiene.
